The following are trips sponsored by area recreation departments, senior organizations, etc.

  • April 9-11: Columbia Senior Organization sponsors a trip to Washington D.C. during the cherry blossom season. Two-nights at Hilton Hotel, Gaithersburg. Sites, more. Price: $369 each double, $469 single. Reservation and info: 228-0759. 
  • June 9: Columbia Senior Organization sponsors a trip to Newport, RI. Includes playhouse and cabaret "Lover's Leap." Departure at 8 a.m. Price: $97. Reservation and info: 228-0759.
  • July 8-9: Columbia Senior Organization sponsors a trip to Kurtztown, PA. Kurtztown Folk Festival. Stay at Heritabe Hotel, Lancaster, PA. Price: $199 double, $259 single, $189 triple/quad. Child w/ 2 adults: $149. Reservation and info: 228-0759.   
  • July 17: Columbia Senior Organization sponsors a trip to Martha's Vineyard. Island tour and leisure time for lunch and shopping. Price: $89. Reservation and info: 228-0759. 
  • Sept. 16-25, 2010 : Lebanon Jr/Srs sponsors a trip to Germany, Austria and Bavaria. Includes Oberammergau's Passion Play. Information: 423-7659.
