Stress test health info
The Windham Community Memorial Hospital, 112 Mansfield Ave., Willimantic, sponsors a talk "Stress Tests: What Does it All Mean?" Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Johnson Room. Presented by Dr. Anthea Woodbury. Light refreshments.
Chocolate Lover's Soiree and Vaudeville Spectacular
The annual Chocolate Lovers Soiree and Vaudeville Spectacular takes place Thursday at the Capitol Theater, 896 Main St., Willimantic. Chocolate treats from 6 to 8 p.m. Vaudeville from 8 to 9 p.m. Price: $15 person, $25 couple. Tickets at the door or by calling 450-0918, 456-4476 or 377-7755. Usually a sellout.
Benefit dance
Bruce John & The Eagleville Band performs at a benefit for the Windham Region No Freeze Hospitality Center Friday at Jonathan's Cafe, 75 Bridge St, Willimantic. Dance your way into Valentine's weekend. Doors open at 7:00 pm and tickets will be sold at the door. $20/person or $35/couple.
Annual Chocolate Stroll
The annual Chocolate Festival Chocolate Stroll takes place in downtown Willimantic Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Info: www.romanticwillimantic.org.
Children's Valentines program
The Windham Textile and History Museum, 411 Main St., Willimantic, hosts its children's valentines program Saturday from 1-3pm. Kids can spend the afternoon making Victorian Valentines and chocolate mouse candy.
